How I Evaluate My Parents

What I Like and Dislike about My Parents

Everybody knows that parents have a huge role in their children life. Without parents, a child cannot grow well.  I believed that all parents will always give their children the best. However, have you ever thought that sometimes your parents are very excessive? I think most of the children will answer “yes” and so will I. I think, sometimes, my parents are too strict. They are also very chatty. They always complain what I wear. On the other hand, my parents are best listener and motivator, especially my mother. She always helps me solve my problems. Those are the characteristics I dislike and like about my parents.
The one characteristic that bothers me most about my parents is strict. My parents are too strict. My mother does not allow me to ride my motorcycle when I go to campus. She also never permits me to hang out at evening. My father always controls my phone. He always controls my inbox, who text me the message, and how much message are there. My father also controls my facebook account. He will comment my posting immediately when he thinks that I have posted an awful thing. Besides, my parents are also very chatty. They always complain what I wear, watch, and listen to. They also often comment my friends’ style. They often ask many things to my friends who come to my house. They also often compare their teen’s life with my life now. I think those really bother me.
On the other hand, there is one characteristic I like most about my parents that are when they are being a good listener of my problems. My parents always listen to my grumble, especially my mother. She always gives me advice that motivates me to be better. She can also relax me with her speech. I think that my parents are the best motivator in my life.
To sum up, I would like to say that nobody is perfect, and our parents are too. Although there are many characteristics I dislike about my parents, I never hate them. Our parents are everything. We should always love them because they also always love us.
